What is your photography style?
I take a documentary style approach, almost like a fly on the wall. I love to capture the things most people wouldn't consider as "picture perfect" because every family is perfectly imperfect through my eyes. I want you to look back on your images and remember exactly how you felt during our session.
How many pictures will we receive?
During your session I will take many pictures and hand pick the best images to include in your galley. My galleries tend to be on the larger side because I can never just choose a couple.
How do I get my pictures?
Each gallery will be delivered via email with an online link where you may download any image to print, archive, or share on social media. you will also have the option to purchase professional prints through my gallery delivery if you wish to do so.
Where are you located? Do you travel?
I am based near Terre Haute, Indiana. I am willing to travel within a 30-mile radius. anything outside of that will be an additional fee of $0.58 per mile. I am happy to meet you at a nearby park, your house, your backyard, or any place with meaning to you. If you have no preference on location, I will pick one of my favorite spots.
When do I get my pictures?
I do my best to get galleries back to you in 3 weeks. However, some galleries may take longer due to the size, editing requirements, and time of year.
My work is art and art takes time. I promise you'll be glad you waited.
What should I wear?
When you schedule a session, I will give you a guide to choose your outfits. However, I always want your images to reflect who you really are, don't overthink it, these are for YOU no one else.
What if my children act up?
No such thing. They're only expressing who they are, and those big feelings are hard to understand sometimes. I have 3 of my own so I get it! If your child is having a hard time, I will try my best to make them more comfortable or simply allow them to sit out for a little bit, they'll come around ;) I only ask that you discuss with them what to expect, make it a fun experience please, never threaten them to act a certain way. Make sure they've napped, their tummies are full, and I'll handle the rest.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absouletly! Money should never come in the way of your family portraits. Once your deposit is made you may set up payments to accommodate your life. Please note, no images will be delivered until your balance is paid. Due to processing fees, there is an additional 3% cost for each additional transaction in payment plans.
What's included in a session?
Each session includes a what to wear guide, what to expect guide, about an hour on location, an all-inclusive digital gallery of 25 images give or take (usually give) with the option to purchase professional printing, and payment plan options.
What props do you have?
I use the earth's natural elements and you as my props :) If you have something meaningful that you would like to include in your personalized session we can discuss those options.
