Being a teenager is hard.. helping your teen through this time in their life is challenging. cyber bullying still happens as much as we try to stop it. some times we have a hard day at work and take it out at home only to regret our actions later. WE ARE HUMAN and that's okay.

but why do we only have our children's pictures professionally taken showing their milestones under 5? because we pay WAY too much for that one head shot at school photo every year? I don't know... BUT...

here's what I've learned.. every teenager going through a milestone 13, 16, 18, seniors and whatever else, has been waiting for this moment, their time to SHINE! The spotlight is on them and they feel like a real model! They refuse to smile or laugh when you try to capture them, but take mom out add in a stranger, a little direction, some jokes and BOOM the outcome is magical!

When they get their pictures back they fall back in love with themselves. They see them as we see them, beautiful, handsome, strong, smart, and fun.

Then they post them on their social media pages and now their peers see them differently, they see them as we see them. Just like that your teenager has quickly forgotten any negative thing any one has ever told them and they are PROUD of who they are. Their self confidence is better than it's ever been!
