Your wedding day, Your way.

It's your day. Here's how your guests can help make it picture perfect.

As your wedding photographer, my goal is to tell the story of your day in the most beautiful, authentic, and true-to-you way possible. Every wedding is unique in it's own way, and the most meaningful images come from capturing your day just as you dreamed it. Here's something many couples don't realize until the day is done:

The magic of your wedding photos isn't just about my skill, the decorations, the lighting, or the angles -- but more about the energy, atmosphere, and how clearly that vision and expectations have been shared with your guests.

Now let me explain.

The role your guests play.

The energy of your friends and family are the heartbeat of your celebration, it's what ties it all together. Their presence, joy, and interactions amongst each other shape the candid moments that make the gallery of your day so special and truly unique. Sometimes without the proper education guests aren't sure what's expected of them. Should they pull their phones out during the ceremony? Do they dance alongside you like you did during your college days, or play it safe and stay reserved because your parents are watching? Are there moments or traditions that matter more than others?

This is where your guidance makes all the difference.

Communicating your vision.

When couples take a moment to let their guests know what kind of vibe they're going for - whether it's an unplugged ceremony, high-energy dance floor, or a laid-back garden party- it sets the tone and divides the awkward sitting in silence to people talking about how much they enjoyed your special day right alongside you. When your people understand your priorities, they're more likely to show up, and in a way that supports the experience you want for them, and yourself, and that shows in your photos.

Here are a few easy ways to help guide your guests:

  • Wedding websites
  • Ceremony signage
  • Officiant or DJ announcement
  • Invitation memo
  • Social media post

At the end of the day, the most powerful galleries are the ones that reflect not only how the day looked, but how it FELT.

So don't be afraid to gently share your vision and expectations. When your guests are in the loop, I can do what i do best: preserve every emotion, detail, and memory just the way you imagined.
